Toy Fair 2025: Spin Master

Published on:

It’s cold and windy and I am walking to the Javitts Center in New York City. TOY FAIR IS BACK, BABY! That’s right, after a one year hiatus to “reset,” Toy Fair returns to a somewhat familiar time of year, albeit a little later than normal. But, that hasn’t stopped toy companies from coming, nor has it stopped the media coverage. I mean, I’m here and a lot of other outlets are too. I came. I saw. I covered. And, I lived to tell the tale. Or, write the report, as it were. So, sit back and relax because our Toy Fair coverage starts right here, right now, with Spin Master.

Spin Master, or as I jokingly used to call them, “The House Paw Patrol Built”, has made huge strides to diversify their offerings, created a broad spectrum of product appealing to all ages. Of course, the big headline here is them being part of the big change in the DC license, but we’ll get to that in a little bit.

Take a look at the gallery from the showroom and then continue reading below for more information on exactly what was shown.

Spin Master was showing an impressive lineup at Toy Fair. Led by several key drivers, including the Gabby’s Dollhouse Movie, the relaunch of Dora the Explorer, the newest products from the powerhouse property Paw Patrol (including new theme Fire Rescue and product from the upcoming, first ever, Christmas Special) and the live action How to Train Your Dragon Movie (featuring Dragon with rider sets and an incredible interactive Toothless.) Supplementing these tentpoles are regular addition to the Monster Jam, Hatchimals, Bitzees (Harry Potter), and Tech Deck lines, as well as new Harry Potter mini figures, Kinetic Sand PIzza, some stunning new 4D Puzzles and Rubik’s product.

Now, let’s rip off the band-aid and deal with the elephant in the (show)room. There are still a few waves left of the 4” DC and Batman lines, but, sometime this year, those lines will sunset. They will be replaced by a new 6” Batman Ninja Strike line, which has some very cool designs. Figures in the line include Batman, Joker, Robin, Nightwing and Gorilla Grodd. There is also a Batwing vehicle. The 12” scales also continues, with a new interactive figure, an RC Batcycle and a 12” scale Batmobile. Also shown was a new miniature scale figure line called Metal Force, which feature Batman, Superman, Joker, Lex Luthor and Brainiac. Each figure set comes with a mech suit for the figure to wear. Finally, new Teen Titans GO! Figures were shown, with the latest wave having a food theme. In other DC news, it appears the recently released retro line will continue, with series planned based on the 1989 Batman Movie with figures including Batman, Vicki Vale and the Joker (which will NOT look like Jack Nicholson) and the 1977 Superman Movie featuring Superman and Lex Luthor. Speaking of Superman, there will also be a full line of product to support the upcoming Superman movie this summer, but no product was on display in the showroom. I was told however, that there would be a 6” and 12” figure line and a special “flying” Krypto toy. More information on these items to come at a later date.

(NOTE: NO PHOTOS WERE ALLOWED OF THE 4D PUZZLES OR THE RUBIK’S PRODUCT)
