Next up, we head to NECA. NECA is one of my favorite companies to see at Toy Fair. Since they have an open booth, you can really walk through any time and do your coverage. Their stuff always looks amazing ad they have some of the best case lighting of any company. This Year, NECA had three big licensing surprises: The Muppets, DuckTales and McDonald’s.
The Muppets’ line came about from NECA inheriting the license from Diamond Select Toys after the sale of that company. The first products shown include Miss Piggy, Gonzo and Mahna Mahna.
DuckTales was a huge, and very welcome surprise, with figures shown of Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Launchpad McQuack and GizmoDuck. These figures look amazing and I hope they do everyone.
Finally, you had to look really hard to spot the McDonald’s display, but I found it. The line consists of figures, statues and other collectibles and includes Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Mayor McCheese, Hamburgler and more.
In addition to these three surprises, NECA had their usual assortment of Pop Culture and Horror figures. Of Course, they had new items in their legendary Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line as well. A standout for me were three figures of Batman, Catwoman and Penguin from Batman Returns.

There is one more part to what we saw at NECA. NECA is owned by Ad Populum, who bought the assets of Diamond Select Toys last year. Though they folded the company and fired all the employees, Ad Populum have decided to continue certain Diamond Select Toys lines, and those products were on display at Toy Fair.
